        NATURE SPEAKS: Mind Sharpening!

If your life is full of stress, give nature a chance and try to seek these simple, yet effective, natural steps for a manageable, hectic life.

      By George Patton

This is what I search for and practice in order to lead a healthy and stress-free life:

      – Trees

When you walk among trees, you’ll be getting more oxygen, which helps the brain to focus and operate more effectively; and you will be experiencing many moments of ‘peace’ in your mind.

      – Gardening

Use your hands and heart to garden and enjoy the wonder of a seed becoming a thriving plant.

If the seed, for whatever reason, does not grow, nature will not judge you. You have unlimited chances to be successful.

The only limits are the ones you create.

      – Water

Always drink lots of water, especially after having tea or coffee.

Learn to love water: swim in it; make tea with it; be wise in a garden with it.

      – Exercise

Exercise to improve circulation and improve muscle tone.

Here are some of the things I do (and I highly suggest you add your own “active hobby” that your heart desires):

      • Ride a bike
      • Do some yoga
      • Hike in mountains
      • Play Frisbee
      • Walk on the beach

      – Art

Create your art:  sew, cook, plant, paint, carve, sculpt, enjoy and dance to the music you love.

Have some popcorn (non-GMO) and enjoy the show. Then…enter the realm of meditation.

A healthier life makes a healthy and sharper mind.

      Until next time…
