The Chabad of Pasadena invites the community to attend a Grand Menorah Lighting, 4:00 pm Sunday, Dec. 10, at the steps of Pasadena City Hall.

There will be a 10-foot Menorah filled with chocolates and dreidels. Jelly donuts, hot latkes (potato pancakes), Chanukah Glitter Tattoos, Decorate Chanukah Socks, and Chanukah Arts and Crafts.
The Jewish holiday, Hanukkah, began at sundown Thursday, Dec. 7 and will end on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 15. On each of the eight nights of the holiday, a candle is lit on a menorah. It’s also known as “The Festival of Lights” and “The Festival of Rededication.”
Celebrations will take place on each of these nights, including a drive-through Parade (in Pasadena) on Dec. 12 at 5:00 pm at the Playhouse Village Park.
