Rose City High proudly recognizes Melanie Garcia as the Valedictorian and Leilonnie Ramos as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2026.

Melanie Garcia
Melanie Garcia is a well-rounded and highly motivated student whose strengths are evident in her academic achievements, leadership, life skills, and personal character. She consistently demonstrates accountability, initiative, and a willingness to support others, leading by example in both her actions and attitude. Melanie’s thoughtful and grounded perspective has made a positive impact on her peers and school community. Her dedication to excellence was further recognized through her selection as the recipient of the Brandon Jackson Memorial Scholarship, an honor that reflects her hard work, character, and commitment to success.
Leilonnie Ramos
Leilonnie Ramos earned the distinction of Salutatorian through perseverance, determination, and academic excellence. After spending several years in independent study, she enrolled at Rose City seeking both academic growth and the opportunity to connect with teachers and classmates. Entering the program credit deficient, Leilonnie embraced the challenge and worked diligently to achieve her goals. Through her commitment and strong work ethic, she excelled academically, built meaningful relationships within the school community, and graduated a semester early. This fall, she will attend Pasadena City College, where she plans to pursue a degree in pharmacy.
