The Pasadena Tournament of Roses has officially unveiled the Grand Finale lineup for the 137th Rose Parade, and the celebration closing out New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1, 2026, promises to be nothing short of electric.
Capping off one of the most iconic parades in the world is Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling hitmakers Capital Cities, joined by DEK of Hearts, the newly crowned Mic Drop winner from NBC’s The Voice. If the Rose Parade is New Year’s Day’s grand storybook, this finale is its fireworks-filled final chapter.
Capital Cities will ignite Colorado Boulevard with their multi-platinum global smash “Safe And Sound,” one of the most Shazam’d songs in history. With billions of streams worldwide, chart-topping success in 18 countries, and both MTV VMA and Grammy® nominations, the track is practically engineered to turn the parade route into one massive dance floor.
Sharing the spotlight is DEK of Hearts, the Nashville-based pop-country trio that captured America’s votes to claim the coveted Mic Drop title on The Voice. Their path to the Rose Parade stage came through a new fan-powered twist: during the Knockout rounds, coaches Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire each deployed a single Mic Drop button on a standout artist from their teams. Viewers voted, DEK of Hearts emerged victorious, and a prime place in parade history was sealed.
The finale itself reads like a highlight reel in the making, 24 dancers blazing through eras from flappers to hip-hop, set against a rolling showcase of classic cars spanning generations. Add a confetti-soaked, color-drenched atmosphere, and the result is a joyous collision of nostalgia and now.
