Principal Lawrence Torres said “Carli is an extraordinary student. She is graduating a year early because she has been dual enrolled in our program as well as completing courses at PCC.”
At CIS she was able to shape her studies and give her more time for acting. Principal Lawrence Torres said, “CIS Academy is Pasadena School District’s Independent Study school. Our TK-12 program provides a quality educational experience for all those who need a different path through school.”
Bertonneau has been an avid equestrian for the past eleven years and also worked at barns where she could enjoy and learn more about her sport. She also volunteered at the Pasadena Humane Society.
“She has shown such a remarkable commitment to her studies. We are so very proud of her,” said Principal Torres.
Carli Bertonneau will be attending Emerson College as a double major this Fall. She will study Theater / Performance and will also study in the English department. She plans to work in the entertainment industry upon graduating.
