Updated election results released June 5 continue to clarify outcomes across Los Angeles County, with incumbents maintaining strong leads, key measures decided, and additional congressional and citywide races taking shape.

In newly reported results from the 28th Congressional District, Judy Chu led with 73,986 votes (65.94 percent), followed by April A. Verlato with 32,036 votes (28.55 percent).
In the 36th Congressional District, Ted W. Lieu led with 104,838 votes, or 59.98 percent. Houston Brignano and Melissa Toomim followed with 16.48 percent and 14.03 percent, respectively. In the 38th District, Hilda Solis received 53.52 percent of the vote.
State Assembly races showed decisive margins, with John Harabedian winning the 41st District with 68.73 percent and Mike Fong winning the 49th District with 65.76 percent.
In the Los Angeles City Primary Nominating Election for mayor, Karen Ruth Bass led the field with 34.98 percent of the vote, followed by Spencer Pratt with 28.24 percent and Nithya Raman with 24.89 percent.
County voters appeared to reject Measure ER, the Essential Services Restoration Act, which proposed a half-cent sales tax to fund healthcare and other services. The measure received 48.50 percent support, while 51.50 percent voted against it.
For Los Angeles County Supervisor in the 1st District, Maria Elena Durazo led with 58.20 percent of the vote.
In the sheriff’s race, Robert G. Luna led with 44.67 percent, followed by Alex Villanueva with 23.10 percent.
Assessor Jeffrey Prang secured 57.67 percent of the vote.
Several Superior Court races were decided outright, including Tal K. Valbuena in Office No. 2 and Irene Lee in Office No. 14. Several other judicial offices featured unopposed candidates.
In Glendale, Suzie Abajian was elected city clerk with 58.46 percent, and Rafi Manoukian won the city treasurer race with 68.51 percent. In the City Council race, Dan Brotman led all candidates with 16.92 percent.
In La Cañada Flintridge, Kim Bowman led the City Council race with 42.58 percent.
Monterey Park voters overwhelmingly approved Measure NDC, which bans data centers citywide, with 87.08 percent support.
In Pasadena, Justin L. Jones won the District 3 City Council race with 77.27 percent; Jess Rivas ran unopposed in District 5; and Jason Lyon won District 7 with 83.90 percent.
San Marino voters approved Measure S with 64.89 percent support, while Sierra Madre voters approved Measure GL with 72.37 percent.
Los Angeles city voters passed Measure CB, which applies cannabis business taxes to unlicensed operators, with 71.17 percent support, and Measure TC, which updates transient occupancy tax collection rules, with 55.94 percent support.
In education-related measures, La Cañada Unified School District’s Measure LCF passed with 62.81 percent approval, and South Pasadena Unified School District’s Measure SP passed with 74.69 percent.
In the Glendale Community College District, Edit Khachatryan and Tony Pogosyan won trustee seats in their respective areas. In Glendale Unified School District races, Greg Krikorian, Kathleen Cross, and Aileen Dinkjian were elected in their respective trustee areas.
The Pasadena Glen Community Services District’s Measure B, a parcel tax for road and culvert maintenance, was approved with 73.44 percent support.
