Construction is underway on the Lima Street Water Main Replacement Project, with work taking place along Lima Street between Grandview Avenue and Carter Avenue.

The project includes replacing approximately 1,440 feet of water main, installing new water service connections and fire hydrants, and completing related pavement restoration.
Work will generally take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Residents should expect temporary No Parking areas near the active work zone, as well as temporary driveway access restrictions during excavation. Traffic control measures and No Through Traffic signs will also be in place. Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained throughout the project.
Mainline installation is expected to take approximately two weeks. Testing, service connections, roadway restoration, and paving will continue afterward. The overall project is anticipated to take six to eight weeks, subject to field conditions and potential conflicts with underground utilities.
Motorists who do not live in the immediate area are encouraged to use an alternate route.
