Held at the historic bandshell at Memorial Park, 85 E. Holly St., the annual concert series will feature performances every Saturday at 6:00 pm through Sept. 12. The family-friendly events are free and open to all ages.
This year’s lineup includes Yuko Mabuchi, Dave Barnes, Julian Torres, Leah Ashton, Niki J Crawford, Melo Gía, Jessica Fichot, Ara Dabandjian, The Lao Tizer Band, Chris Pierce, La Verdad, Troop, and Jon B. The series will showcase a variety of musical styles, including Latin, soul, blues, jazz, country, and R&B.
Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early for The Vibe Set, an opening performance series highlighting local and emerging artists from across the region. Sponsored by the Rose Bowl Stadium, the series is designed to showcase the next generation of musicians before each headlining performance.
“Thanks to the incredible support from our Pasadena community, I am thrilled to welcome the return of the Levitt Music Series at Memorial Park,” said Councilmember Justin Jones. “Music has the power to unite people. I am pleased that the Levitt Pavilion will continue to provide the perfect stage for families and neighbors from all walks of life to come together and enjoy. When our parks are activated, filled with music, and our neighborhoods come together, they become places where connections are strengthened. I look forward to another season of welcoming artists from near and far, spreading joy, and enjoying the creativity of our beloved community.”
Koko Panossian, director of the City of Pasadena’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, said the concert series highlights the role of public spaces in bringing the community together.
“The Levitt VIBE Pasadena Music Series is a wonderful example of how our parks bring people together through music, culture, and shared experiences,” Panossian said. “We are proud to partner with the Pasadena Recreation and Parks Foundation and the Old Pasadena Management District to provide free entertainment that is accessible to everyone. We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors to Memorial Park this summer for evenings filled with music, connection, and community.”
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, purchase food on-site, and explore Old Pasadena’s restaurants, shops, and businesses before or after each concert.
The concert series is presented by the City of Pasadena Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Pasadena Recreation and Parks Foundation in partnership with the Old Pasadena Management District.
