Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards announced that this year’s Rose Parade will be their final year covering it for at Channel 5.
By Shadi Absi
Eubanks spent 38 years covering the famous parade. He said “It’s just time.” Edwards spent shorter years as she was bumped out of the booth for few years for a younger woman, then viewers rebelled and KTLA management relented and brought her back. She said “We really did not get asked to leave — this time.”
Both affirmed that it was their own decision to leave. Watch their appearance on KTLA Morning News with Sam Rubin Friday morning.
