Senate President pro Tempore, Kevin De Leon, said:
California’s progress against climate change and our clean air and water standards are at risk. Now more than ever, The Golden State will stay the course by working to solve the climate crisis while building a stronger economy with more parks and green space. We are commemorating these ambitious efforts with the newly renovated Los Angeles Historic State Park.
State and community leaders will be on hand for the ceremony to celebrate and enjoy the new park. L.A., alongside with the state of California, stand to the environment by showing Washington that California is not going back, but rather, showing the way forward.
