As fire refugees continue to navigate the events in Los Angeles—ranging from overnight displacement to bidding wars and exorbitant rental prices driven by greedy landlords—a regional brokerage team has formed a task force to connect those fire refugees with off-market housing.

      By News Desk

Pardee Properties, a women-owned real estate brokerage based in Venice, already has connected more than 60 families with much-needed accommodations through its recently launched wildfire housing program. Designed by Pardee Properties’ CEO Tami Pardee, this initiative operates with zero fees and zero commissions, connects individuals with rental properties both in-network and off-market that are not listed on Multiple Listing Services.

Since its launch, Pardee Properties’ private database has grown to include over 150 short- and long-term rental options made available by landlords and property owners with vacant apartments, condos, townhomes and houses from Malibu and Santa Monica to Pasadena and Monrovia to Palm Desert and beyond.

To notify the task force of new openings, Los Angeles neighbors can complete an intake form at pardeeproperties.com/connect. More information can be found at pardeeproperties.com/blog/to-those-displaced-or-in-need-in-our-community-we-are-here-for-you.
