Musician, educator, and researcher Martin Espino has deep knowledge of the music and traditions of Ancient Mexico, and he’ll share that expertise during a special performance presented by the Altadena Library.
The interactive program will take place Thursday, July 30, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Loma Alta Park Gymnasium.
Participants will explore the music, culture, and history of Ancient Mexico, sing songs in Indigenous languages including Maya and Nahuatl, and play percussion instruments. The program is suitable for all ages.
