Huntington Health has been ranked the 10th-best hospital in California and fifth in the Los Angeles region in the 2026-27 Best Hospitals rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.

The Pasadena hospital, a Cedars-Sinai affiliate, also remained the highest-ranked hospital in the San Gabriel Valley.
Among its specialty rankings, Huntington placed No. 11 in California for cancer care, No. 17 for cardiology, heart and vascular surgery, and No. 12 for orthopedics. Within the Los Angeles region, it ranked seventh in cancer care, fourth in cardiology, heart and vascular surgery, and fifth in orthopedics.
The hospital also received high-performing ratings in gastroenterology and GI surgery, geriatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology, which was nationally ranked.
In addition, U.S. News recognized Huntington as high performing in 17 adult procedures and conditions, including heart attack and stroke care, heart bypass surgery, maternity care, hip and knee replacement, colon and prostate cancer surgery, kidney failure, pneumonia and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
“Earning recognition as one of California’s top hospitals is a powerful acknowledgment of the exceptional clinical expertise and teamwork that defines Huntington Health,” said Dr. John M. Corman, the hospital’s president.
The rankings also recognized other hospitals affiliated with the Cedars-Sinai Health System. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was named to the U.S. News Honor Roll for the 11th consecutive year and tied for the top ranking in California and the Los Angeles region. Torrance Memorial Medical Center ranked seventh in California and fourth in the Los Angeles region.
