PCC Student Health Services, Congresswoman Judy Chu, and local aid agencies will be hosting an in-depth look at the opioid crisis on Wednesday, May 28, 2018.

In the “Opioid Workshop: How to Help Loved Ones,” representatives from Los Angeles County, Casa Treatment Center, and the nonprofit End Overdose will provide practical advice and support to members of the community who have questions about this public health emergency.

The topics include identifying signs of addiction in loved ones, how to support loved ones during recovery, identifying and reversing overdoses, as well as an overview of the Opioid Crisis the country faces.

The event will take place at Pasadena City College’s Creveling Lounge.
