Do you dream of riding like a Stormtrooper in “Star Wars? That dream may become a reality sooner than you think.
Deep in the English countryside, aeronautical engineers are perfecting a new generation of aerial drone. With increased stability and maneuverability, and able to carry a much heavier payload.
This small drone is just the 1/3rd proof-of-concept model for something much more ambitious, a full-sized quad-copter Hoverbike that can be piloted by a person as well as flown by remote.
It’s the brain-child of engineer and helicopter pilot Chris Malloy. His Kickstarter campaign was so successful that this New Zealand engineer, whose company is based in London, was able to raise $105,000 in online donations, more than double his original goal.
Check the video of the cool flying bike, that is a cross between a helicopter and a motorcycle.
