The donation was earmarked to help PSC empower older adults to engage, enrich and inspire their lives.
Sanchez said:
Our commitment to create great experiences for our direct-care staff has resulted in a $70,000 grant from the national Home Instead Foundation to support nearby organizations that serve older adults, and the Pasadena Senior Center is one of them.
Sanchez added by saying, “We plan to continue providing fulfilling career opportunities that in turn will help older adults age safely and gracefully at home.”
Home Instead provides senior care and assistance in private homes or hospitals in Pasadena or surrounding areas.

I was hoping your article might explain the headline. “Home Instead of Pasadena,” It sounds very anti-Pasadena. Does it propose that people make their home in any place other than Pasadena? I suspect that this is not the intent, but I would like to have seen some information about the organization and what the headline actually meant. Perhaps the name should leave out “of” and use a hyphen or other means to identify as an organization IN Pasadena.
We updated the article. Thank you for your comment.
