Summer Reading Program (Photo – pasadenalibrary)

      PASADENA — ColoradoBoulevard.net:

Since 1921, Pasadena Public Library has held its Summer Reading Program helping children retain knowledge and skills learned in school throughout the summer, furthering social-emotional development, discovering the joy of stories, and the importance of lifelong learning.

      By News Desk

The program enriches, engages, fosters an opportunity for community connection through shared experiences, and inspires children to read for enjoyment. Parents and teachers agree that summer reading matters.

This year’s theme, “Read Beyond the Beaten Path,” encourages participants to explore ideas that are new to them and forge their own paths in life. Children, teens, and adults are invited to sign up online at pasadena.beanstack.com/reader365 or stop by the Allendale, Hastings, Hill Avenue, Lamanda Park, La Pintoresca, Linda Vista, San Rafael, Santa Catalina or Villa Parke branch libraries to sign up in person. The 2022 Summer Reading Program will be held through Saturday, July 30.
