The Pasadena Convention Center was the place to be at the High-Tech Conference (co-hosted by JPL and the City of Pasadena,) on Wednesday, September 6.

The conference presented innovative exhibitors, showcasing their core capabilities, products, and services in support of NASA-JPL missions and the procurement needs of the City of Pasadena.
Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo kicked off the conference with opening remarks, followed by a keynote speech from JPL’s Deputy Director Larry James. The event also featured guest speakers, workshops, and matchmaking sessions (by appointment) with JPL, the City of Pasadena, and JPL prime contractors in search of well-qualified small business suppliers.
Mike Ross, CEO of the Pasadena Center Operating Company, said:
We are honored to have such exemplary institutions and intellectual capital in the City of Pasadena. This conference brings remarkable opportunities for small businesses as they learn about contracting opportunities from JPL.”
“This conference is an excellent platform for small businesses to gather insights on potential opportunities through workshops, matchmaking, and networking sessions,” said Charles Bray, Manager of JPL’s Small Business Programs Office.
The California Department of General Services Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services (OSDS) had an exhibit table to answer questions and will hold matchmaking sessions with businesses who wish to learn about doing business with the State of California.
