On April 9, the L.A. Board of Supervisors will vote on extending rent control and creating other important tools for L.A. county including Altadena and E. Pasadena.
Last year, tenant advocates won major tenant rights for unincorporated Los Angeles County. These rights will expire and need to be extended and expanded toward a permanent rent control and eviction protections in LA County.
Advocates will tell the Board of Supervisors the need to:

- Establish a rent board
- Create an online rent registry
- Systemic code enforcement
