There’s plenty to celebrate at Alhambra’s Frances Q. Story House during this year’s Harvest Fair Fundraiser, taking place Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at 502 North Story Place.

The free event will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Alhambra Historical Society while raising funds to support the organization, its museum, and ongoing preservation efforts. Festivities will also include the dedication of a community garden, completed as part of Thay Duong’s Troop 131 Eagle Scout project.
Visitors can enjoy storytellers sharing tales of historic Alhambra and its people, sugar skull decorating, face painting, wellness and resource booths, and arts and crafts vendors. Additional activities include a tour of the historic home, a citrus-crate art show, henna body art, and a fortune-telling booth.
Enjoy the cooler temperatures with a little splash of local history.
