Local greater Pasadena area businesses will look different as they respond to Covid-19.

Many Ralphs, Vons, and CVS stores are installing new Plexiglas dividers at each register to create a physical barrier between checkout clerks and customers.
Target shoppers are monitored to maintain social distancing. Greeters are stationed at each checkout lane to make sure customers are six feet apart. Checkout lanes will be cleared after each transaction. Target also is halting product returns temporarily.
Laemmle theaters are offering Video on Demand (VOD). In partnership with a number of indie distributors, the chain is launching a “Laemmle Virtual Cinema” program because “going to a movie theater isn’t an option,” as stated by Laemmle President Greg Laemmle in a newsletter. Laemmle’s VOD is a way to keep money flowing until theaters can reopen.
