Visitors can enjoy three special drop-in talks in The Huntington’s Greene & Greene Gallery on Saturday, August 8, at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm. Included with general admission, the presentations will be led by docents from the Gamble House.
The talks focus on one of the Gamble House’s distinctive living room rugs, currently on display at The Huntington. Guests will learn how the rug was designed and manufactured, and discover how Greene & Greene extended their artistic vision beyond architecture by creating decorative arts and furnishings that complemented their celebrated homes.
The informal presentations are included with admission, and no reservation is required. Hours, directions, and additional visitor information are available at huntington.org.
