The Pasadena City Council will issue a proclamation on March 30 officially recognizing April as Earth Month, kicking off a month‑long series of programs, workshops, and community activities aimed at inspiring residents to learn about sustainability and take meaningful action to protect the planet.

City officials say this year’s lineup is designed to engage residents of all ages through hands‑on learning, environmental education, and opportunities to contribute directly to Pasadena’s sustainability goals. From composting workshops and goat‑grazing demonstrations to tree‑planting events and public transit incentives, Earth Month will highlight both individual and community‑wide steps toward a greener future.
“Earth Month is a chance for our community to come together in learning, action, and celebration,” the City announced, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to building a more sustainable Pasadena.
