The organization is providing free tree-watering assistance to properties impacted by the fire in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre, recognizing the vital role trees play in the health and resilience of the community.
The Eaton fire caused widespread damage across the foothill communities. While Altadena bore the brunt of the destruction, Pasadena lost 131 homes, and Sierra Madre lost 33 structures, including 18 homes.
“We understand exactly how important trees are to our community, and we want to help you,” Amigos de Los Rios shared in its announcement.
Participation is simple: residents only need to fill out and submit a form to receive watering services for their trees.
