At a loss for words in your personal journey? Let Pasadena Village help you create it with art.

      By Melanie Hooks

Part of an ongoing Thursday Connections series of pre-registered, free workshops, the gatherings on Thursday, March 5th and 12th invite the community to take a moment for self-care and use art journaling, a visual private space to combine images, colors, and words for self-discovery and emotional resilience. Together, participants will honor the journeys they are on, making space for complexity, re-charging, and hope.

No previous art experience is necessary; the focus is not on creating “good” art, but on using simple, accessible art-making as a grounding and supportive practice. Space is limited. Register online here.

Pasadena Village, a nonprofit that supports aging-in-place for older adults, invites the public aged 50+ to Village Connections on Thursdays at 2:00 pm at the Washington Park Community House. Socialize over complimentary coffee and tea, and stay for an engaging presentation or discussion topic.

This event is in collaboration with Project Hope.
