Community members are invited to take advantage of free health screenings throughout the month at two Pasadena Public Library branches.

      By Melanie Hooks

The Santa Catalina and La Pintoresca branches will offer on-site health services provided by registered nurses from Huntington Health, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai.

The screenings will include blood pressure and blood glucose checks, health education, and referrals — all at no cost and without the need for an appointment. Attendees are advised to fast for at least two hours before undergoing the blood glucose test.
