Four suspects were arrested Tuesday following a brief vehicle pursuit connected to a residential burglary in the 200 block of E. Markland Drive.

      By News Desk

At approximately 11:53 am, the Monterey Park Police Department received a tip about a burglary crew reportedly canvassing the city. Detectives soon spotted a vehicle believed to be involved in the crime and observed the suspects exiting a residence. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver failed to yield, prompting a pursuit.

The chase continued into the City of Montebello, where the suspects fled on foot. However, officers quickly apprehended all four individuals and took them into custody.

All four suspects have been booked on charges of residential burglary. The Monterey Park Police Department’s Investigations Bureau is actively pursuing the case.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Monterey Park Police Department at mppdtips@montereypark.ca.gov or call 626-307-1444.
