PASADENA – ColoradoBoulevard.net:
On Friday, August 4, Felicia Williams issued the following statement regarding the March 2024 election:
After much thought and hearing from my constituents, friends, and supporters, I have decided, to run for re-election to the Pasadena City Council.
With a majority of the Council seats up for election in 2024, I think we need stability and continuity on the Council to finish the great work that Mayor Gordo started in 2020. I plan to continue my thoughtful and balanced approach to City policy where I listen to all perspectives to inform my decisions. I want to thank all of my supporters who are continuing to support me through this transition, including Senator Anthony Portantino. I have learned so much from our Foothill and High Desert communities during my Assembly campaign that I will incorporate into my professional and Council work to ensure we work together to have a strong voice in Sacramento.”

Sad when someone abandons their principles in order to get re-elected.
