A study has found that people who regularly exercise are more likely to reap wine’s cardiovascular benefits.
By Brian Rodriguez
The research was done by Professor Milos Taborsky at the European Society of Cardiology Congress, where 146 wine drinkers were surveyed for a year.
After the research, Taborsky concluded:
Our current study shows that the combination of moderate wine drinking plus regular exercise improves markers of atherosclerosis, suggesting that this combination is protective against cardiovascular disease.

The type of wine didn’t make a difference.
Since hiking, biking, running and walking are some of the great activities available for us in Southern California, here’s one more added excuse to exercise (and drink moderately).
