Leigh Adams will present a storyteller’s approach (and her decades of experience and expertise) to thinking about, teaching, harvesting, and conserving water. You will also have the opportunity to see some unique approaches taking place in our own neighborhoods.
Leigh, the LA County Arboretum’s Artist-in-Residence, is a teacher and garden designer, and is currently curating and developing The Crescent Farm at the Arboretum , a living demonstration of water conservation and sustainable landscapes.
A $10 suggested donation will cover hosting expenses for the event and support the work of UNA Pasadena. No RSVP is necessary.At All Saints Guild Room.
The United Nations Association Pasadena Chapter is a local 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate, inspire, and mobilize our community to support the United Nations and other humanitarian organizations. Our Coffee Talks speaker series occurs several times per year and presents local speakers discussing international issues, including sustainability, education, gender equality, global health, and much more.
