Thrive Food Bank is serving up fresh, local, and totally free produce every Friday from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Iglesia de Nazareth, 3541 Brandon Street, Pasadena. No catch, no cost—just community love and good food.

Thrive Food Bank is a Los Angeles County food bank that provides free farmer’s markets which offer fresh locally sourced fruits and vegetables to food insecure populations. Bring a bag, bring a friend, bring your appetite. Everyone is welcome—always.

The program says, “Our holistic approach to food insecurity takes a long term view of physical, mental and planetary health, all of which are benefited from a move towards a vegetarian diet.”

Thrive Food Bank uses an entirely electric truck fleet to distribute produce and other vegetarian foods to underserved Los Angeles County neighborhoods facing nutrition gaps, and compost all their food waste.

The organization is donation-supported, and those are accepted here. Check out upcoming volunteer opportunities and sign up here.

Donations of resh fruits and vegetables are always welcome. If you have a farm or grow your own produce, they’d love to discuss donating any surplus. Email info@thrive.charity to learn more.
