During Schubert’s lifetime, private concerts were held by his wealthier friends or aficionados of his music. They were generally informal and unadvertised gatherings.
We will be recreating that joyful atmosphere at our first Third@First concert of the season. Come enjoy a performance of Schubert’s piano work by pianist Junko Ueno and the Trout Quintet by LA Philharmonic musicians.
