Pasadena-based Tail Town Cat Café, the largest nonprofit cat café in Southern California, has announced its inaugural Summer Carnival of Cats – a free Open House and Feline Faire.
A free and family-friendly event at Pasadena’s Tail Town Cat Café and Adoption Center celebrates the organization’s new nonprofit status and provides a glimpse into their work with cats. Tail Town Summer Carnival of Cats welcomes visitors to meet the 30-40 rescue/adoptable cats who live at Tail Town in addition to experiencing the fun, quirky events that have made Tail Town a memorable destination.
Activities include a mini Meow-N-Paint experience, Lightning Kitty Bingo, Cat Trivia, and Puzzle Race games, all surrounded (and interrupted) by cats. Children can play Sift-N-Win, finding wrapped candies in a giant (and pristine) prize sandbox. Limited space in the cat lounge.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. For those 21+, a paid afterparty event will allow ticketed guests to chill with the cats in the lounge from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Admission for the afterparty is $25. Attendees can sip cat-themed beer and hard seltzer provided by Brouwerij West, and snack on food from Yuca’s Pasadena and refreshments from Tiny Tiki, the plant-based Polynesian pop-up. Space is limited, and Tail Town recommends securing afterparty tickets quickly at this website.
