Support Safer, More Sustainable Mobility in Pasadena

      • Staff
        • January 27, 2018

Support a safer, more sustainable transportation system in Pasadena with us Monday 1/29!

The Pasadena City Council will review a ‘Wish List’ of local transportation projects to request Metro funding for at its regularly scheduled meeting, and among the opportunities are greener, safer, more #CompleteStreets!

How Can You Support Safer, Greener Mobility in Pasadena?

      1. Attend Monday night’s meeting and speak in support of safer, more sustainable streets for all! The item is #6 on the agenda, right after Consent Calendar, meaning it shouldn’t be a long night if you can make it! 7pm start, Council Chambers, 175 N. Garfield Ave. Meeting agenda here.
      2. Email and/or Call your Council Member and the Mayor and let them know you want to see the City request transportation projects that will improve safety and reduce the #1 source of GHGs in Pasadena, the transportation sector! The Complete Streets Coalition’s letter and recommendations are by no means exhaustive, and there are no doubt other great ideas that staff and the City could consider for this funding stream. Your ideas are most welcome!
      3. Encourage others who support this issue to weigh in, too!
