      Once again, the City of San Gabriel’s beloved Summer Concert and Movie Series brings free live music and movies to the community this June and July.

      Residents and visitors are invited to gather with family and friends for evenings filled with music, movies, and community spirit. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks while enjoying the performances.

      Note that many of the dates coincide with San Gabriel’s Art in the Park series, often occuring an hour or so before the music concerts. Check the City’s events website for full details.

      2026 “Summer in San Gabriel” Schedule

      Thursday, June 25: 7:00 pm & 8:30 pm
      Vincent Lugo Park
      Enjoy a performance by the Santana Tribute Band, followed by a screening of Lilo & Stitch.

      Friday, July 3: 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm
      Gabrielino High School
      Celebrate Independence Day with live entertainment and a spectacular drone show.

      Thursday, July 9: 7:00 pm
      Mission Playhouse Plaza
      Experience the California surf sounds of Woodie & The Longboards.

      Thursday, July 16: 7:00 pm & 8:30 pm
      Vincent Lugo Park
      Enjoy a performance by Box Car 7, followed by a screening of The Bad Guys 2.

      Thursday, July 23: 7:00 p.m.
      Mission Playhouse Plaza
      Sing along to the timeless hits of ABBA performed by The Swedes.

      Thursday, July 30: 7:00 & 8:30 p.m.
      Vincent Lugo Park
      Dance the night away with Anything for Salinas (Disco experience) before a screening of Zootopia 2.

      All events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a fun evening with neighbors.
