Registration is now open for SPTOR’s Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course. Every swing helps South Pasadena sustain a cherished local tradition. Learn more and register online at www.sptor.org.
Following SPTOR’s tradition of welcoming people of all ages and skill levels to participate in building and decorating the city’s self-built Rose Parade float, the annual golf tournament welcomes players of all ages and skill levels to come together for a day of friendly competition and community spirit, all in support of South Pasadena’s oldest community tradition.
Proudly sponsored by Shaw, Moses, Mendenhall Insurance, the golf tournament raises crucial funds to purchase construction and natural materials for South Pasadena’s all-volunteer built float.

The tournament will be held at the scenic 18-hole, par-3 Arroyo Seco Golf Course (1055 Lohman Lane, South Pasadena).
Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m., followed by an 8:00 am shotgun start. After play, participants are invited to stay for a celebratory lunch, raffle, and awards ceremony. Awards will be presented to the top two teams, and to the male and female players closest to the pin.
Like the course, the tournament is designed for fun and accessibility, featuring a best-ball “scramble” format—ideal for experienced golfers and beginners alike. Players can also test their luck at Hole #17 with a $10,000 hole-in-one challenge, generously sponsored by Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta of South Pasadena.
Advance registration is $90 per player or $300 for a foursome; day-of registration is $100 per player. Tee signs and sponsorships are available for businesses that want to be part of the day on the course.
All are welcome to tee it up! Register now at www.sptor.org, or contact Golf Chairman AlanVlacich at avlacich@gmail.com or (626) 233-5570 for more information.
