San Gabriel Hosts 81st Annual Pancake Breakfast & Egg Hunt Sat., April 4 (Photo – City of San Gabriel)
Smith Park greets the early birds and family fun seekers for the 81st Annual Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt, hosted by the City of San Gabriel and the San Gabriel Kiwanis Club.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 4, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Families and friends can enjoy a variety of fun spring activities and a visit from Mr. Bunny.
Event Schedule
7:00 a.m. – Pancake breakfast begins
7:30 a.m. – Coloring contest begins
9:00 a.m. – Pancake races for kids aged 7 to 16 years old begin
10:00 a.m. – Egg Hunt for kids aged 12 and below begins
It is highly recommended that participants bring their own baskets for the egg hunt and spatulas/pancake turners for the pancake race.
The pancake breakfast includes pancakes, butter, syrup, and a choice of juice, coffee, or milk for a donation of $5 per plate.
