Getting children — even adults — to feel comfortable on a set of wheels is a challenge. What if you could get the whole village’s encouragement?
Grab your bike, scooter, or walking shoes and join your San Gabriel neighbors for Walk-Bike-Roll Day on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Marshall Park, 311 W. Marshall St.
This free, family-friendly event encourages the community to explore fun, safe, and convenient ways to get around San Gabriel. Enjoy community resource booths, test your skills on a bike obstacle course, learn from bike and e-bike safety demonstrations, and show off your creativity in a bike decorating contest open to all ages.
Attendees can also receive a free backpack courtesy of SGM-CSC: Boutique of God’s Love, while supplies last.
