In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, San Gabriel Police Department is holding its very first Silent Day Out on Saturday, April 18, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm at Vincent Lugo Park (corner of Prospect Ave. & Wells St.).

To be more welcoming to those who might be overstimulated by loud noise, the event features zero sirens and other sensory-friendly accomodations.

Visitors are invited to explore police units and meet Department officers. No sirens will be used.

Autism awareness patches will be available for purchase to support the cause.
