The City of San Gabriel is asking for residents’ help to shape the future of Smith Park. The public is encouraged to attend one of a series of upcoming summer meetings to give feedback on potential park improvements.

The City of San Gabriel was recently awarded $500,000 from the LA County Regional Parks and Open Space District to support the planning and design phase of the Smith Park renovation. The City is now applying for funding through the Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program.

The primary focus of the project is on renovation of the pool and pool facility and the addition of a spray pad and picnic shelter.
