“La posada” is a cultural tradition about the story of the pilgrimage of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter in Bethlehem before Mary gave birth to baby Jesus.
The Latino/Hispanic Ministry of All Saints Church, invites you to join us on the recreation of Mary and Joseph pilgrimage “Posada” as a symbol of hope in search of peace and social justice.
The event includes the traditional procession of pilgrims singing litanies, along with church members, immigrant families, supporting groups and the representation of the sacred family, followed by a reception with hot Mexican chocolate and fruit punch.
The event is free and open to the public, for more information, please contact Rosemary Muniz: rosemary.munoz@csun.edu.
