Back by popular demand, enjoy a bike ride with stops to eat ice cream and pie.

Participants will visit local purveyors of America’s favorite frozen and baked treats to sample their offerings.

The ride will start and stop at Playhouse Village Park. The route will be 9 miles with 240 feet of elevation gain. Sections of the route will be shared with car traffic and will need attention in biking.

What Is Needed for the Ride

      • A bike in good working condition that you are comfortable riding. If you haven’t ridden the bike in a long time, it is suggested to take it to a local bike shop for a safety check or tune up.
      • Helmets are recommended for all and required by law for anyone under 18.
      • Water and snacks for the ride.
      • Sunblock or clothing to protect you from the sun.
      • A spare tube that fits the size of your tires.

Participants are encouraged to ride to the event start location. If you are driving, there is limited street parking in the area and limited paid parking at Playhouse Village Park. Other paid parking lots are also available in the area. Do not park at Vroman’s.

This event is part of Pasadena Bike Month and is made possible by the City of Pasadena Department of Transportation, in partnership with Day One and the Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition.
