On August 15, 2022, title of property that was previously to be used for the expansion of the N Route 710 Freeway was transferred to the City.

The relinquishment represents a unique opportunity to begin the process to reconnect the fabric of our community and establish a new vision for its future. The development of a comprehensive Planning Document (e.g. Master Plan, Specific Plan, etc.) will help to pave the way for that future vision. To assist in this effort, the City Council has created the Reconnecting Communities 710 Advisory Group.

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at Pasadena City Hall’s Council Chamber.
