Residents of Pasadena are invited to spend a fun and educational day with local first responders at this year’s Fire Service Day, hosted by the Pasadena Fire Department. The event will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Jefferson Training Center, 1500 E. Villa Ave., Pasadena, CA 91106.

Fire Service Day offers a unique opportunity for community members to meet their neighborhood firefighters, learn about fire safety, and get an up-close look at emergency equipment. Attendees can expect live demonstrations showcasing firefighting techniques, as well as the chance to explore fire engines and other specialized vehicles.

In addition to hands-on experiences, families can enjoy a variety of fire-themed activities designed for all ages at the nearby Jefferson Library, making it a welcoming event for children and adults alike.

The Pasadena Fire Department encourages everyone to attend and connect with the firefighters who serve their community while gaining valuable safety knowledge in a lively, interactive setting.
