In support of Pasadena’s ongoing efforts to promote safe and sustainable waste management, Greg de Vinck, Director of Public Works, is inviting residents to participate in the City’s E‑Waste Recycling and Document Shredding Drive-Thru Collection Event this Saturday, May 23 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, at Brookside Park, Lot I.
The event offers Pasadena residents a convenient way to responsibly dispose of common electronic waste, including TVs, computers, printers, household batteries, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, and more. Residents can review accepted materials at CityOfPasadena.net/EWaste.
Free on‑site document shredding will also be available. Residents are asked to remove documents from ring binders and binder clips, with a limit of three legal‑sized boxes, or equivalent per household.
The event is scheduled to remain open for its full duration; however, if collection trucks reach capacity, service may end earlier. The line will close at 2:00 pm to allow staff to serve all waiting customers.
Residents are encouraged to take part in this community effort to keep hazardous materials out of landfills and support a cleaner, safer environment for all.
