Pasadena Certified Farmers’ Market at Villa Parke Center, 363 E. Villa St., is open Tuesdays, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Take a peek at what’s in season on the calendar.

      Location

This is the intersection of N.Garfield Avenue and E. Villa St, and is one block north of the 210 Freeway, about half way between the Fair Oaks Avenue off ramp and the Lake Avenue off ramp. (About 5 blocks from either ramp.)

      Certified Market

In a certified market, the farmers who grow the produce sell their fruits and vegetables directly to the public. It is where the agrarian community relates to the urban community.

More specifically, a certified farmers’ market is a location approved by the county agricultural commissioner where certified farmers offer for sale only those agricultural products they grow themselves. Certified Farmers Markets provide multiple benefits for small farmers, consumers and the community.
