Explore the world of indie publishing (Stock Photo)
It’s a common claim these days: Anyone can publish! Just hit “upload” to Amazon—and you’re done.
Hear from local independent authors Jeannie Chow, Victoria Lum, Jessica Grewe Glover, and Cee Yang as they share an in-person perspective on their real-life journeys through the highs and lows of publishing a polished, finished product on Saturday, September 12, 2026, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm, at Monterey Park’s Bruggemeyer Library.
Learn insider secrets about the writing process, which mistakes to avoid, and perhaps how to turn your passion for writing into a career. Books by the authors will also be available for purchase.
This free event is open to teens and adults in the Library Friends Room, 318 S. Ramona Ave., Monterey Park.
No registration is required. Contact library staff with questions at (626) 307-1368.
