Pasadena’s Thurgood Marshall Secondary School’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is throwing a special afternoon party of adult comedy to raise money for college/university/trade school scholarship awards at Pasadena’s Ice House, 24 N. Mentor Ave., Pasadena at 4:30 pm.

Thurgood Marshall PTSA
Thurgood Marshall Secondary School is a 6-12 grade public school in Pasadena. We serve a community that is still recovering from the Eaton Fires and experiencing income insecurity due to the presence of ICE.
Marshall PTSA raises money throughout the year to help support teachers and students where funding falls short. Every year the PTSA awards two scholarships to graduating seniors, but this year we are hoping to double the number of scholarships available with funds raised at the May 2nd Ice House Comedy Event.
Ice House Deez Nutz Weekly Show
The special fundraiser takes place in the weekly Deez Nutz time slow, hosted by comedian Vargus Mason, who spotlights the “NEXT!!!” of young stand-up comedians in Southern California.
Vargus Mason, gathering one of the more discerning showcases in Hollywood, delivers a diverse hilarious lineup guaranteed to rock your funny bone! Don’t miss the chance to see the new rising stars of the comedy scene.

Ice House doors open at 4:00 pm. Seating in showroom begins 30 minutes prior to showtime of 4:30 pm.
