Pasadena Pride Month shines a spotlight on artist and activist Keith Haring, an early graffiti-punk artist who moved into public murals and high energy workshops around the world.
“Make Your Mark: A Keith Haring Workshop for Teens” offers teens a chance to explore Haring’s influential work on Tuesday, June 23, 3:00 pm, at Jefferson Branch Library, 1500 E. Villa St..
They’ll discover how his art and activism continue to uplift LGBTQIA+ rights, visibility and equality. They’ll also be able to create their own Haring-inspired artwork, experimenting with movement, color, and their own message for the world. Supplies provided. For ages 13-19.
