Golden Hour: Music in the Garden fills select Friday hours at Norton Simon Museum’s Sculpture Garden (Photo – nortonsimon.org)

Ah, the golden hour. That gorgeous slipping from afternoon to evening, bright sunshine beginning to slant and cool breezes picking up. Now, add some tunes and beautiful art sprinkled through a sculpture garden, and you’ve got Norton Simon Museum’s newest attraction.

On select Fridays in May through August, stop by the Museum for a casual and creative music-centered afternoon, featuring a range of musical styles programmed by musician Masatoshi Sato.

Purchase light bites and beverages from the Garden Café, pick up drawing supplies and find a spot to relax in the newly renovated garden.

It’s free with Museum admission and recommended for visitors of all ages. Seating in the Garden Café is first come, first served.
